Located across the street from the Parish complex, the first phase of additional parking and outdoor Stations of the Cross has been completed. The quiet hillside overlooking the former football field and lower grounds of Taylor High School has been transformed into the beginning of an accessible community prayer space. It is our plans to keep much of the area a spiritual sanctuary for the community. Please stop by sometime to physically walk the Prayer Path. Spend some time in prayer at one of the benches. The white stones represent the prayers of our parishioners and were placed by them following the dedication of the walk.
Please feel free to take a virtual walk at any time by clicking the photo below to scroll through the stations...
St. Joseph North Bend planted a large-scale landscape project at an empty lot on the site of a high school across the street from the church. The central bench is of the same kind of stone (a slab of Tennessee Crab Orchard stone) that was used in the nearby Stations of the Cross "prayer path" and weighs more than 1,500 pounds.
