We are offering a new approach to Baptismal preparation that will offer individual consideration for each family. When a family is expecting a baby or has a newborn or young child, we ask that you call the parish office and speak to Marti Barnes, our Pastoral Associate. This series is a magnificent adaptation of this most famous Jane Austen novel from the Nineteenth Century. It takes place in the early 1800’s (1820’s?) in England. The entire series runs about five hours and is very well done in a variety of ways (screenplay, dialogue, acting, costumes and “on location” sets). For many, it is entertaining to the point of addiction, but it is a little bit confusing at first. This “orientation commentary” is my attempt to do what someone did for me when I watched it for the first time, to define some terms and clarify a few issues for the first-time viewer (maybe the second and third-time viewer as well!).

All masses are cancelled that includes the regular weekday and weekend schedule until further notice. Please welcome Beth Scholl as our new Director of Religious Education. She brings to St. Joseph Church 13 years of experience in Catholic education with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. She holds a Master's Degree in Education from Mount Saint Joseph University. Beth is eager to work with the parishioners of St. Joseph through the Sacraments and opportunities of Faith Formation. She resides in Cleves with her husband and two children, and looks forward to sharing the Good News with our community.
