They also assist the priest in the Rite of Vigil (attend the funeral home visitation) and the funeral mass. They meet quarterly to discuss new procedures. If you are interested in this ministry, please call the parish office.

A Journey from Grief to Healing has been presented in three series of nine Grief Support sessions.  Contact Kathy Teipen (489-7489, 474-6907) or Shelley Jensen (891-9494) or  check our bulletin for information.

    Prayer Ministries
Many in the parish family are no longer able to participate in ministries that require physical effort. We suggest that these people join our ministry of prayer which involves saying daily prayers—your choice—for the needs of St. Joseph parish and the entire church. If you ore someone you know is in need of prayers, please contact the parish office.

    Prayer Chain

This Ministry has 32 individuals praying for others who are ill or need prayers for something special such as: surgery, care giving, death, results from tests, addictions, treatments, special intentions, and many other reasons. The Prayer Chain currently prays for over 700 individuals averaging approximately 60 new names a year.
